Why do I get pain in the gluteus medius of the front leg after stretching the front split? Posted: 29 Jul 2020 10:53 PM PDT Hi, I've been on a flexibility journey for more than five years now. My right side has always been my weaker side, and I'm not as flexible on the right side as on the left. I always get this weird pain in the gluteus medius of my right leg. After stretching my front split on the right side. In the past, I have undergone various physiotherapy related treatments such as dry needling and glute strengthening exercises to ease the pain. However, the pain doesn't seem to go away with these treatments. They did give me temporary relief from the pain, but I still get this pain two days after getting into the splits. Has anyone here had the same condition as mine? What causes this pain? What other treatment options are available for my condition? Thank you. [link] [comments] |
