Men which activewear brands do you recommend? Posted: 04 Sep 2020 04:52 PM PDT I know of Lulu and wondering if there are other brands for men that make good activewears that I should check out. Looking for joggers, T-shirt's, hoodies etc that are soft, durable, sweat wicking and don't feel restricted. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 04 Sep 2020 03:40 PM PDT I read somewhere that the Down Dogg app is offering a 60% off yearly discount for labour day. Have any of you ever tried it? Is it as effective as going to an actual class? I just want to know if it's worth trying. I'm a beginner and I'm hoping to start taking this more seriously :) [link] [comments] |
Feeling uncomfortable with yoga teacher Posted: 04 Sep 2020 08:39 AM PDT Have you ever experienced inexplicable feelings like you feel uncomfortable in talks with your yoga teacher? I don't know why, but I had this feeling in my previous yoga studio. The teacher was nice and calm, but I always felt that she is judging me. I can't understand was it the problem in me or in her. Have you ever had such feelings? [link] [comments] |

SUP Yoga - What to look for in a paddleboard? Posted: 04 Sep 2020 05:14 AM PDT Hi, guys! I've really enjoyed doing paddleboard yoga the last few years, but I've always rented where ever I go. What are some things you look for (length, width, brand, etc) when buying for yoga? I have a preference on inflatable since I have to carry it down some stairs. Just as a reference, I've used the inflatable and hard boga board. I wasn't sure if there were others I should look at or avoid. [link] [comments] |
Looking for some help on my right leg flexibility. Posted: 04 Sep 2020 02:49 AM PDT Hello, I have to make this post as I can not figure out which routine to follow. I meditate daily and just started doing Hatha yoga. I have been doing this for 3 days now as I have mild sciatica (which is fine for a year now) so I thought this is a good routine for a beginner, also makes my lower body feel lighter after it. The problem I have is my right leg is a lot less flexible than left. When sitting in burmese position with a rounded meditation cushion with right leg in front of the left my right knee can not rest on the floor and I have to use small cushion to support it under knee. And so I am wondering then which yoga routine I can follow each day that is about 30 mins long that would gradually increase my hips flexibility? Some time ago I did see a professional and was told that my hamstrings are not flexible. Just feeling a little confused as there are hips and hamstrings and thights stretches and so on. I wish to sit in burmese at ease at some point if possible, thanks for any suggestions. [link] [comments] |
Troubles follow us wherever we go! Posted: 04 Sep 2020 02:34 AM PDT Hello, I'm looking to get back into my practice. However I've got this unfortunate wrist pain, maybe carpel tunnel? In any case I'd like to avoid doing more damage than it has already (surgery ain't an option at the moment $$$, and it may even be psychologically trauma based so who knows). The pain is such that it can be quite preventative, Makin an L shape with my arm-hand worries my mind when I have the pressure and weight of my body on it. Can anyone suggest a practise (or life advice ;-; on the matter) to help heal, or avoid damaging it any further. Using a punching fist helps avoid the pain popping up. I'm tired, I hope you get the point! [link] [comments] |
