- Hi! So I feel like my back flexibility is pretty ok, but I never really trained for it, I just like to do a simple wheel from time to time or some poses on the silks (it was my first time doing forearm wheel here)... What should I do to really work on it and get a super bendy back?

| How often to do middle split training? Posted: 06 Feb 2021 10:48 PM PST Hello everybody, I recently started working on my middle splits. I am far far (far!) away from being close to the middle split but that is why I started training them ;-) More precisely, I am following one of the middle split routines from Tom Merrick. The main point I am wondering about is now how often would you recommend doing a middle split routine? Can I conclude from the overview post in this subreddit (where tykato's middle split training is referenced) that every other day is sufficient to get started? I just started recently and right now I am trying to do something like 5 days a week. Sometimes I am having a rest day after two days in a row, sometimes after three days in the row. Does that sound reasonable to you? I know that consistency is important - but I also don't want too start being too hard on myself. I also recently started trying to do some Yoga every day (since about two weeks). If I can keep that up, I would do at least a little something every day. Thanks in advance :-) [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 07 Feb 2021 12:33 AM PST Hello guys! So I'm a 27 y/o male, about a feat ago while I was at work I got up from my seat and my knee popped really bad, i didn't fall or anything like that, i got swollen and was in a lot of pain, I went to the ER and they told me it was just swollen, but I know it was something different, I made an appointment with my doctor at my local clinic (it's a low fund clinic that helps the community that I qualify based on my income) the doctor said it was probably a torn meniscus or an lcl issue but they didn't take care of that type of issues and that even getting it looked at was going to be very costly, the pain is gone but now my knee pops and locks up if I bend it too far back and I have to twist it a certain way to make unlock it, I've gotten used to it but it makes me a bit depressed thinking I'm only 27 and I'm going to have to live with this issue for the rest of my life, it's very hard to run like this, haves anybody experienced anything similar? Is there perhaps some exercises I can do? Any advice would help [link] [comments] | ||
