    I have been training for about 8-9 months and the only way I can do a split is if I scoot my butt back a little when I'm an inch off the ground.

    Banded ankle impingement mobilization drill - still feel pain

    So as the title suggests, I can't seem to make this pinching sensation around my talus bone to go away. I have enough tension on the band, I raise my foot so the band pulls downwards, but it just feels the same and the front of my ankle gets sore afterwards. Any ideas what I can possibly be doing wrong?
