    Calves

    Posted: 15 Apr 2020 11:43 PM PDT

Hi guys I'm new here and I really have been trying to stretch my calves they are super tight even sitting down putting my legs together would give it a bit of a stretch.

My ultimately goal is to be able to ideally do the front splits my calves are the weakest part of everthing and I'm super weak as it is.

I don't want to focus my upper body too much just yet as my lower body is so stiff...

I have. Tried to do sitting lunges which transition into my straightening my front leg( I don't know what it's caled ) which really is effected thus far

Any other ideas on this ? My strongest muscle is my hip Flexors as I don't really feel it too much when I do the sitting lunge and can even straightening my back leg almost

I guess you could say I do a half split which I really fee the burn just I don't push down as much

Front splits (5 months of training) and middle splits lack of progress (about two years of regular training)

2 weeks into splitting and I'm happy about the progress. But it feels like my leg behind carries the whole mass. How can I reduce the tension there? Also when my right leg was in front, I overstretched and injured my inner tights. How should I progress? Any contribution is appreciated :)

The annual Global Release Liner Industry Conference and Exhibition, hosted by AWA Alexander Watson Associates, was one of the last few industry events to take place this spring, before the coronavirus 'lockdown'. It took place in Amsterdam at the end of February, and attracted around 180 delegates who spanned the broad release liner supply chain and end-use markets. The program addressed the major items of interest, and concern, surrounding this industry.

    Posted: 16 Apr 2020 03:13 AM PDT

Hi everyone, I've a doubt. I started the Antranik's 90 day splits challenge but a question arose: is't 90 days FROM the first training or 90 days OF training?

Not the best angle but could anyone give me feedback/pointers on my splits please? So excited I’m finally getting there and I wanna be sure I’m doing it right ❤️ Are my hips squared enough? In case it’s not clear the leg closest to the camera is the back one

Is practicing front splits and middle splits on the same day a good idea?

    Posted: 15 Apr 2020 09:10 AM PDT

Hello. I'm now working on my middle splits by following a 20-minute routine online. In addition to this middle splits routine is my front splits routine, which is an 80-minute one.

I practice the middle splits first, the front splits next. I practice them both on the same day.

I'm just wondering if anatomy-wise, this is a good idea. Like, if I should work on the middle splits today and the front splits tomorrow instead. The reason I'm asking this is that ever since I've started incorporating middle splits to my front splits routine, it's been sort of uncomfortable (and more challenging) for me to do the hamstrings-focused stretches, which occur a lot in my front splits routine. That said, should I practice front splits first and then the middle splits? Or does it get better over time?

    I'd appreciate your thoughts. :)

    Help with splits

    Posted: 15 Apr 2020 09:09 AM PDT

I want to be able to do the splits to help with other activities such as kick boxing. Does anyone know which stretches are the most effective? Also should I keep stretching even if im sore?
