What hints at you to stop?

Hi all, I know there has already been some discussion on this (All_Is_Coming had a goodie about body vs mind cues), but I didn't want to risk old thread bumping. So here's opening a new discussion for people to explore what happens in themselves during practice.

When you practice on your own, in the absence of a teacher, what cues do you use to decide "okay, I'll stop here today"?

Some examples: body fatigue, mind losing focus, breathing through the mouth, mental state etc.

In my case, at the moment, it's that line I cross ignoring my intuition where the practice goes from wonderful absorption in exploration to a resentful slog through a workout. When I start hating the practice, I've gone too far.

Let me know your thoughts! As someone who never fully trusts myself, I'd love to know how you all seem to do it 😂
