Question about stretching hamstrings Posted: 21 Jun 2020 07:35 PM PDT How do you know when you have a good stretch in your hamstrings? I don't want to push it and injure myself which is what I think happened a couple years ago. I'm wanting to take it slow but be effective. Thanks! [link] [comments]

Posted: 21 Jun 2020 07:48 PM PDT So I decided about 3 months ago that I wanted to learn the deep squat while in quarantine, I soon came to the realization that I have very stiff ankles and hips. After stretching and spending some time in the position with my heels raised off the ground I feel I've made amazing progress, but as of late I feel I have hit a wall. I can comfortably squat with shoes or my heels raised by barely half an inch but as soon as I try barefooted my feet spin out and I feel like I'm constantly about to fall over due to a lack of balance. I know it is to due with poor ankle flexibility but nothing I have tried has helped so I'm here looking for some help. [link] [comments]
Posted: 21 Jun 2020 11:33 AM PDT Hey, I'm pretty new to flexibility but I enjoy running and realize I need to be quite a lot more flexible. I have extremely tight hamstrings and back and hips. I've followed several yoga videos on youtube but I can't even keep a straight back while my legs are straight out in front of me. Even sitting with my knees up I have to pull myself up with my hands to keep myself straight. Is there any fix/exercise/stretches for this? When touching my toes my back is very rounded and I feel it in my hips. Thanks for any advice. [link] [comments]
