Whats wrong with my legs? Hard time squaring up —

Hey guys! I’ve had a lot of people requesting tutorials here so here’s a mini cheststand tutorial! I’m gonna do more detailed tutorials for YouTube but I thought this was a nice helpful tip for now.

Backbend check . I'm sorry if some of you don’t understand the words written in spanish on the video. (It says: the spoon when the ice cream is really cold. But comes out as a bi*ch. Not as funny as in Spanish but I did my best ) It’s just another silly tiktok either way

How long does it take to see results?

    Posted: 26 Aug 2020 04:15 PM PDT

Yea I know, this question has been asked again and again, and yes, I've looked everywhere online but all I find are generic and huge articles that don't even answer the question and just throw meaningless facts at you

anyways, I'm trying to do the horizontal splits so I could kick high in martial arts. I'm 17 yrs 176cm tall 67kg weight and male. I do the straddle and butterfly for about 2 hours non stop every single day and I go as far as I can tolerate. Wondering how long it would take to see results. Thanks

    Pike and front split carryover.

    Posted: 26 Aug 2020 07:14 PM PDT

What training will have more carryover to the other position? Training for pike towards front split, or training for front split towards pike?

I want to achieve both well eventually but atm only have time to train one and would like to get the most bang for my buck. So which one should I focus on?

Flexible Legs Challenge. Try your best

I'm comfortable doing the front splits but not so with the reclining hand-to-big toe pose.

I'm comfortable doing the front splits but not so with the reclining hand-to-big toe pose.

First off, I know that it's better to consult a doctor about this, but I just want to have an idea what's going on with my body beforehand. Because maybe I can just do some rehab exercises at home. :)

It all started after I self-massaged my glutes using a tennis ball. After doing so, I noticed that it has become difficult for me to do the reclining hand-to-big toe pose, even with the help of a strap. I can feel the discomfort (or tightness, maybe) from my buttocks area to my lower hamstrings, just right above the knees.

I thought it was sciatica, but I don't really feel any pain in my lower back. I also thought I injured the tendon that connects the hamstrings to the sitting bones (=proximal hamstring tendinopathy), but I can still comfortably do the front splits anyway, with square hips.

This only affects my right leg.

Now I'm thinking it's a knot in my glute muscles that need to be released. When I'm only standing, I can only feel the discomfort somewhere in the middle area of my buttocks. But when I do the reclining hand-to-big toe pose, the discomfort extends to my lower hamstrings.

Anyone who has the same experience? Or can someone tell me what they think it is? Thank you so much. Your responses will be very much appreciated. :)

Looking for a routine that will realign my body

    Posted: 25 Aug 2020 06:37 PM PDT

Hey! I'm looking for a routine that I will do daily from now on. My shoulders are rounded, my right shoulder is pushed forward, my hips are slightly rotated abd my knees are pushing in. At this point im afraid to start lifting again cause muscles might develop in a wrong way.

I wanna be able to stand up straight again, I wanna feel nice again and I'll do whatever it takes. If anyone knows what I should do, please share. Thank you.
