[COMP] I know this is far from perfect, but since it’s yoga practice and not yoga perfect, here is the best forearm stand I’ve achieved so far. I’m nursing a broken toe, and more yoga (some modified) than usual is keeping me active and sane while I can’t run.

Any links to harder yoga? And dont feel much after a yoga session.

    Posted: 13 Sep 2020 06:12 PM PDT

Hi everyone, ive been doing some yoga for a couple weeks and heard lots of good things about it but most videos i follow online are not really challenging. Do you guys have links to challenging yoga videos i could follow? And also, i dont really feel anything after a yoga session, why is that? I know im following the video as best as i can but i dont feel much after im done. People say they have so many benefits from it and Joe Rogan talks about it alot. (I listen to him for fitness ideas and stuff). He always says he struggles with some poses but ive never really encountered a struggling pose in online videos. Enlighten me with facts about Yoga that are interesting and beneficial to people

I do 45 minutes video btw just to add detail to my post

    Thanks for the help!

How do you find the best yoga retreat ?

    Posted: 13 Sep 2020 03:34 AM PDT

    Hi Everyone,

I´ve been seeing a lot of positive posts on yoga retreats and I am considering to go to one.

After searching online and talking to some friends I am overwhelmed by the amount of places, offers and websites. A friend told me she researched for months before deciding where to go.

So I have a question for everyone who already went to a yoga retreat:

    - How did you find yours and decide to go to the place you went?

And if you are also searching for a yoga retreat at the moment and have never been to one (like me :D )

    - How are you trying to find the one that is suitable for you ?

I`ve also seen "online yoga retreats" any opinions on them?

Thanks from a beginner yogi :)

Favorite Glo yoga instructors? I LOVE Jo Tastula but looking for others teachers!

    Posted: 13 Sep 2020 01:08 PM PDT

I'm a huge fan of all of Jo Tastula's classes but I've done almost all of them now and I'm looking for other teachers to throw into the mix to keep things fresh.

Who is your favorite? Are the other teachers who are similar to Jo Tastula's style? I love her because her practice is so breathe focused.

    Thanks :)

    Trying to be Balanced.

    Posted: 13 Sep 2020 07:06 AM PDT

    Hiya, guys!

I wanted to get some suggestions for working on my balance. I'm tall and I've been wobbly all my life and I'd like to work on that. 🥺

I want to work on my posture and poise and not fall over when attempting to do a flat footed squat.

I'll appreciate any tips you have to offer, thank you!

Do any of you have any recommendations for yoga-inspired artists that I could order some paintings or prints online?

Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

    free alternatives to Down Dog?

    Posted: 12 Sep 2020 09:26 PM PDT

Hi!! I started using Down Dog a few months back and really liked it because it was quite customizable, unlike other yoga apps I've tried before. I kinda stopped doing yoga though, but I started again just yesterday. I always choose/create my practice so it's more specific, so I customized the practice and was ready to begin. But then the video wasn't loading at all and only the audio was playing. So I thought my wifi was being weird, so I tried it on another device but the same thing happened. So I just decided to go on the "Journeys" page instead and get a yoga session from there. I did the "Into to Vinyasa 1" because that was the only one shown. It was all good. Then today, I was about to do yoga again so I customized a session again then clicked "start practice" but it led me to some page telling me to sign up (when I already have an existing account) to have full access to all Down Dog apps or something like that. I tried to make another practice but it led me to that page again. So does that mean I have to pay to continue using the app? It's weird because I always heard Down Dog is free and the premium features just add more settings but overall, it can be used for free. But why is it telling me to pay to use it now? Unless it's a glitch or something went wrong, I need to look for alternatives for this app that are free. Hopefully you guys give me some suggestions! <3

TLDR: Down Dog is now asking me to pay to continue using the app all of a sudden, and I don't know if it was a bug in the website or if it's actually true that I have to pay. I need suggestions for other apps I can use to replace Down Dog! Thank you in advance!
