I’ve really fallen in love with sidebends and twists. Here’s a stretch that (after months of drooling over) I’ve finally pulled off! inspired by a mutual on insta ages ago

    Stretches for Weightlifters

    Posted: 28 Oct 2020 05:38 PM PDT

So I have been for years now an active gym goer but I have pretty much never looked up into stretching, which now I am realizing it is a mistake.

My question is,does the stretching routine at the beginners guide work to supply a healthy stretch to all of the muscles of the body after a workout or do I need another stretch routine? And if not what stretch routines do you guys recommend for one with an active weightlifting life

    Question about kicking higher

    Posted: 28 Oct 2020 11:37 AM PDT

Long story short, I'm a MMA practitioner trying to increase kicking height with leg swings, front and side splits, and basic strength work. Is there anything else I should add, or will those exercises be sufficient?

Do I really need to stretch?

    Posted: 28 Oct 2020 07:19 PM PDT

I've always hated yoga and I've never been very flexible but I don't really care, I care about my body looking strong and cut. Do I need to stretch to achieve this?

Will going to PT help with flexibility issues and pain in my hips?

    Posted: 28 Oct 2020 01:54 PM PDT

I used to be pretty flexible when I was young but as I got older I started having really bad hips. A pelvic injury didn't help 10 years ago. Now when i try to do center splits I get a rough pain in my joint that hurts really badly like a sharp pain. I was wondering if i would be a candidate to go to PT to figure out why this specific stretch hurts so badly?

Is “nerve flossing” good/ok for beginners?

    Posted: 28 Oct 2020 04:03 AM PDT

I don't know a whole lot about it, but it's something I'm willing to try. I have a lot of pain when stretching anything in my legs, and it doesn't really feel like the pain I get when stretching anything else... figured it's worth a shot, any advice on that?

What is a good routine for a new guy who has rounded shoulders and forward neck?

I'm incredibly unflexible and extremely tight. It Leeds to a lot of injuries. What are some routines for me?
