Pranayama: My first month's progress |
| Posted: 15 Oct 2020 11:26 AM PDT Today is my 1st luna-versary and I wanted to celebrate it by telling you-all about the progress that I have made. No, I won't tell you about how I held my exhaled breath for 50 seconds or how I did 6 second boxes for 20 minutes last night without too much strain. From that perspective, my progress has been minimal. No, I want to tell you about something that really matters, that really matters to me, my wife, and my dog: So here is the scenario. I post something personal, putting my heart and soul into it, and someone comments, "Why don't you grow-up you fucking fool or just stop posting here." Or some other mean-spirited comment. [My response 1 month ago:] "Fuck you, motherfucker, and fuck your motherfucking mother, motherfucker!!!" [My response 2 weeks ago:] "You're just jealous because your wife is so ugly." [My response yesterday:] All three responses were completely honest with how I felt about the mean-spirited comment. That is what I call progress. This is what makes me so enthusiastic about breathing exercises. [link] [comments] |
