Ashtanga yoga: Why might one feel melancholic after backbend practice? |
| Why might one feel melancholic after backbend practice? Posted: 20 Jan 2021 07:15 AM PST I've had 2 good backbend practices this week. Good meaning I felt like I was able to push myself but still maintain good movement and breath control. I noticed a trend - that after both practices, I felt refreshed as I usually do after a practice, but also emotional and melancholic. I did some googling and it seems that some people do experience certain strong emotions (e.g. sadness being one of them) during backbend practice. Is anyone able to share some insight to whether there is a legit link (and it's not just something I'm making up in my head), and any insight to this? Thank you! [link] [comments] |
