    I can't do the splits for like a week after doing it

    I don't know if this will make any sense at all, but I started stretching about 3 months ago and finally got the splits about a month ago. So, when I did get the splits, everything was fine. I didn't push myself too much. Everything felt fine, no sudden pain or anything like that. But the next day, pushing myself into the splits hurt so much so I just did light side split stretches. It took me about a week to be able to push myself into the side splits again without too much discomfort. But then after that, the same thing happened, it's like my flexibility got worse and I could no longer do the side splits again. Another week, then everything was fine again. But the next day, today, I, once again, felt so much discomfort pushing myself into the side splits and literally could not do it. How do I overcome this? Is this normal?

    Just started stretching, all my joints now creaking/popping. Is this normal?

    I started going to a physical therapist a few weeks ago due to low/mid back pain. She put me on a stretching regiment with some light yoga as well. I now notice all of my joins (mostly knees/shoulders/ankles) pop constantly or feel "squeaky" when I move them. The back pain hasn't really improved and the popping/squeaking has me concerned. My physical therapist/doctor don't seem super worried. Have you guys experienced this?

    Im 15 and really inflexible. I recently started to force myself into front splits to try and get all the way to the ground. What kind of warmups work for this kind of intense stretching? I've been running for about 10 minutes before but I really hate running for semi-long durations so I'd like to figure out what could work best.

    I'm an intermediate self taught contortionist and I've injured myself like several times because I can't find anyone to teach me here. (I live in the Middle East) So I just want to know about any contortion trainers that teach online internationally so I don't end up injuring myself again or quitting. (I've tried looking online but I couldn't find any)

    Tightness in outside of shin while stretching hamstring

    While doing supine hamstring stretch with a stretching strap, it causes tightness/pain at the top of my shin muscle on my right side. Googling seems to think it might be a sciatic nerve issue. What could I do to make this better? Also could there be another issue?

    Some background: very inflexible, got dry needled about 2 weeks ago and decided to adopt stretching routine. I've been focusing a lot of my hip flexors and doing glute bridges, wonder if that might have anything to do with it
