Flexibility: A year apart with a solid six months of being a depressed lump of anyone has tips on not obliternd not doing any physical activity. My hair color/length and flexibility have changed, but my love for camo remains the same. If anyone has tips on not obliterating my elbow skin, I would appreciate it.

Flexibility yoga for beginners. Go slow. Don't overstretch. Perfect poses are a journey not a destination to be reached in hurry. And always, always pause if you are out of breathe. It's not yoga if breathe (read PRANA if you like) is not in control and not rhythmic.

    Nerve tension issues

    Posted: 26 Jan 2021 10:00 PM PST

    Hi!

So I have really bad sciatic and femoral nerve tension that makes hamstring stretches and hip stretches really uncomfortable. My end goal is to be able to do the splits and pike... which seems like an impossible goal with all of this tension ):

I do some nerve gliding but nothing seems to make the nerve tension go away. I feel like no matter what I do, I can't get more flexible. Does anyone have tips or resources to check out?

    Front and middle splits question

    Posted: 26 Jan 2021 09:28 AM PST

I have a question. I have been stop training leg muscle for two months now. This is not because I haven't have time to train my legs. I have been training front and middle splits with my yoga teacher and now the class have end.

I'm trainning splits about 1 hour per day and have about 30 mintues to train my muscle at the gym each day too.

    So here is my question:

    1) Should I train my leg muscles first then train my splits or should I train my splits first then train my leg muscle?

    2) Does training my leg muscle help with my splits?

Right from bending to pick anything or twisting to get something. And for that matter just sitting idly or working on a laptop/mobile. Our spine goes through a lot and needs proper care which I doubt we usually do. Share your thoughts in comment if you feel as I do.

Has yoga made my hip click? Should I be worried?

    Posted: 26 Jan 2021 05:09 AM PST

I am quite concerned about my hip and wondering if anyone here would be able to shed some light. A few months ago I decided to start getting acupuncture and tuina (Chinese massage) regularly, and started doing yoga every day to improve my back and just generally taking better care of myself. The Acupuncture/tuina dude says I'm surprisingly flexible in the hips.

I also have scoliosis caused from one leg being 1.4cm longer than the other, my right is shorter, I wear insoles made especially. Whilst doing yoga everyday I also do pilates and dance a few days week for exercise. I'm 28 y/o.

Since I've been doing yoga I've noticed my hip has started clicking more and after googling it sounds like this hip snapping syndrome that some people experience.

Why has this started happening now with yoga practice?
Is it something I should be concerned about?
And what can I do better it?

    Many thanks!
