Stretching vs strengthening a lengthened muscle Posted: 30 Jul 2021 01:54 PM PDT I am working on my hip flexor flexibility (especially for front splits and manna), and I am aware that strength is a big part of flexibility. From my understanding the nervous system locks up muscles from stretching any farther due to a lack of strength in that ROM. If this is true, could something like this be effective?
