[COMP] I was looking for alternatives to deepen my forwardfold stretch. This my friend is a very good way. The flower pot was actually heavier than my weight so it held me firm. If you have trust issues a rigid thing that doesn't move can be of great help. Trees don't move.

    Yoga books?

    Posted: 09 Apr 2020 02:48 PM PDT

Hi everyone, I'm fairly new to yoga and am currently using yoga with Adrian for my daily practice, I'd really like to learn more about yoga (not how to do it, more theory based) can anyone recommend a good book to start with? Thanks so much

    First timer - delayed fatigue?

    Posted: 09 Apr 2020 07:03 PM PDT

So my buddy and I agreed that we both need to take better care of our bodies and are going to undertake a 30 day men's yoga challenge while getting through this quarantine. We did our first session today and honestly I didn't feel very fatigued or tired immediately after, despite reading that it is totally normal. However, SEVERAL hours later (about 4), I just got hit with a wave of fatigue like a wall of bricks. Is this also normal? Thanks in advance for any info and for forgiving my ignorance 👌

I’ve fallen off the yoga wagon thanks to stress...

    Posted: 09 Apr 2020 01:39 PM PDT

I've really slacked off the last couple of weeks, and the stress of what's going on isn't helping. Instead of coming home from work ready to do yoga I just take a depression nap. How do you stay focused on your practice during a global crisis?

[Comp] Practicing for the one armed handstand lifting one finger at a time. This might be my most challenging yoga goal. (Eka hasta adho mukha Vrksasana)

    Best Advice for Strengthening Wrists

    Posted: 09 Apr 2020 09:49 PM PDT

I'm beginning my journey with handstands yesterday but my wrists keep hurting when I put pressure on them. Now even in pushup position, they are hurting. Not sure if I'm needing strength or flexibility right now to improve it but I'll focus on strength for now. But any advice is welcome :)

I'm new to Yoga and after practicing for about a week I'm realizing that having a big chest is very much a challenge when it comes to Yoga! I'm needing some advice on ways to work around this and some good Sports Bra suggestions from anyone that may have the same issue. Thanks in advance!

    Financial stability?

    Posted: 09 Apr 2020 11:33 AM PDT

I'm thinking about becoming a hatha yoga teacher later in life and I just want to know are most yoga teachers financial stable? Living alone? I don't want to go through all of this and then end up living with my parents or anything.

In dandasana (seated pose) what does pulling the meat off the bones mean?

    Posted: 09 Apr 2020 12:38 PM PDT

This sounds very basic but I'm struggling to get comfortable in dandasana or seated pose. I have a smaller upper body but big glutes and thighs which can get in the way. Our new instructor is great and she was telling me to me to 'pull the meat off the bones'. I was about to ask her what that meant but someone else got her attention. Can someone help? Thanks guys

Need advice about 30 day challenge

    Posted: 09 Apr 2020 05:37 PM PDT

Hi everyone, with the covid-19 lockdown, I decided to do a 30 day yoga challenge on YouTube (which I believe is for beginners). Problem is my body feels sore the following day's challenge as my body is sore.

I feel I may not be able to give 100% on days when I feel my body feels stiff and will not be able to get the full benefit of the challenge. Would you guys suggest having rest periods in between days or follow it to the t?
