| Additional posture to support Marichyasana A Posted: 21 Jul 2020 03:58 PM PDT Hi there, throughout the day I am doing some asanas (every couple of hours or so) holding for 2-3 mins each (yin method?) just to help a little with flexibility. I wanted to ask what a good additional asana might be to support Marichyasana A. I was thinking lizard posture vs. malasana (pros - cons??), but any other ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. PS. I have only begun to understand in the past few weeks i have a real issue with hip flexion (adductors??). When I try postures such as Upavistha Konasana A I feel like there is a large rope or magnet pulling on my back which prevents any forward movement. My hamstrings have really improved a lot over the past year, but my hip flexion feels disproportionately poor. (thanks alexmacias) [link] [comments] |
