| Can you please help me fine tune my routine? :) Posted: 28 Sep 2020 06:38 PM PDT Hello guys, I got to the ground with all my splits a couple months ago and I am now fine tuning my routine to eventually get instant splits with no warm ups. The main hurdle I find is that it takes me a long time to heal after I stretch. On Monday, I do the following exercises: Wide Squat 2 sets 30 reps Adductor flies 2 sets 30 reps PNF butterfly 2 sets 30 contractions 30 second hold PNF side split 2 sets 20 contractions 30 second hold On Thursday: Deadlift 3 sets 10 reps Jefferson Curl 3 sets 10 reps + 10 second hold Weighted Leg raises 3 sets 10 reps Isometric hamstring stretches 3 sets 15 contractions 30 secobd hold Throughout the week I do dynamic stretches in the morning and very easy relaxed stretches. This is the most I can do without being so sore I actually lose progress. I would love to start working on my pancake and better my horse stance (I have an excellent 5 step but that is about it lol) but I don't know how to work that in my schedule. What are your thoughts? And most importantly is there something I am missing that would lead me to instamt splits faster? Thank you in advance :) [link] [comments] | ||
| Who should I go to to fix my postutrial issues? I beed professional help to tix my issues Posted: 28 Sep 2020 05:15 PM PDT Should I see a chiropractor, a physical therapist, a psychotherapist or something else? For more info, here's what my posture looks like: My entire upper body strafes forward, and my lower body pushes backward. My pelvis is not level, and my ass sticks upward while the front of pelbis points downward. My neck cranes forward and my knees bend. There's also a massive curvature in my lower back. I also seem to have rounded shoulders. Whenever I try to adjust any of this to be in "proper" posture form, something else goes even further put of alignment. For example, straightening my knees so my legs are completely straight leads to my body making a v shape with my upper body craning forward and my butt sticking out. I've been trying to do all of the exercise for anterior pelvic tilt, rounded shoulders, forward head tilt etc. but its not helping [link] [comments] | ||
| Is it possible to reach contortion-level (or close) flexibility if you begin at an older age? Posted: 28 Sep 2020 07:21 AM PDT I coudn't find a conclusive answer anywhere and I'd really like to know.. I began stretching seriously at 16 but at the time I only had casual goals such as getting splits down and maybe a scorpion or so. (I have just recently been able to do them.) However, I went on hiatus for maybe 6 months this year because of school and I've began again now (almost 18). So, my question is, is it physically possible to reach contortion-level flexibility having began at this age, regardless of how long takes? And should I hope to achieve that if I try hard enough or should I expect my progression to come to a stop eventually? Also, if anyone has any experiences that relate to this, I'd be very grateful. Sorry if this is long and thanks in advance! [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 28 Sep 2020 05:47 AM PDT Hello, Im sure this has been asked many times, but I cant seem to find a proper answer on the web, does stretching really make you taller? And if it does what poses in particular make you taller? ありがとうございます ! [link] [comments] |
