Ashtanga yoga: Calf cramps in lolasana |
Posted: 02 Oct 2020 05:11 AM PDT I'd like to practice lolasana more often but I happen to get really bad cramps in the calf of the leg that is doing the "folding", basically looking at this picture it would be his right leg's calf https://www.yogajournal.com/practice/pendant-pose. The cramp is so bad I can't even stand for a few seconds. Would anyone know what could be causing the cramp? As I don't generally get them and I think other muscles are working much harder in this pose.
