| Progressing to Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana?! Posted: 23 Nov 2020 03:45 PM PST so having hung around in SN A and B for a few months i thought id try some of the standing sequence as a logical progression. all was fine, with minor shoulder inflexibility in Prasarita Padhottanasana C and Parsvottanasana, which honestly think will just take some time (And maybe some extra shoulder exercises) Til i got to Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana and I just had to laugh! raising my leg on its own, I cannot even get it parallel to the ground, let alone up high, and reaching my big toe over my belly and inflexibility is me just chasing that toe to the ground and catching it there! Should I now hang around in the first parts of the standing sequence or are there other moves for me to work on to get to doing a Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana? [link] [comments] |
