Flexibility: In June 2020, I was in a car crash resulting in over 100 muscles torn and damaged discs in my back and neck. I also suffered depression and lost 8kgs in 3 months. The only motivator I had at the time was to get better so I could work on my splits. It’s taken me 1.5 years in total!

How long did it take for the pain to wane off when doing the splits?

    Posted: 05 Jan 2021 08:23 PM PST

I spent the summer trying to achieve my splits. I was only able to get down the left split and even then I had some days where I couldn't touch the floor. I stretched 5x a week and by the end of the summer it was still really painful to get into my splits and could only be achieved after a stretching session. For people who've experienced this, when does it get better? I'm a dancer, so I want to one day be able to find a bit of ease getting into my split.

[ASK] My knee shapes are bending outward' (not straight), is that related to a poor flexibility and/or tight muscles?

Hello, I just noticed that my knees shapes are starting to bend outward. I don't know whether that's normal, or it's due to a poor flexibility/tight muscles? The thing that also caught my attention is that I've only been starting to notice it after I started cycling around 5-6 months ago (1-2 15km rides per week since then), because before I started regular cycling, I never questioned and noticed my knee shape. Also, the left knee is slightly 'more straight' than the right one. I hope this is the right place to ask this question, maybe someone knows about it? Thank you!

    Quick Question

    Posted: 05 Jan 2021 08:51 AM PST

    Hey everyone,

Last night I did a pretty intense stretching routine, and now I am sore in my hamstrings from it. I want to get the splits down, should I push through it and do it again today or wait a couple of days until I am less sore?

    Thank you:)

Why is my leg always bent when stretching it?

    Posted: 05 Jan 2021 07:15 AM PST

Hey, so everytime I try to do leg extensions or pull it back when I'm lying down, my leg always bends and wont straighten. Why does this happen? And where do I need to stretch to fix it?
