Pranayama: I got tired of all the fluff in every breathing app so I built a minimal app for guided breathing exercises. |
| Posted: 10 Oct 2020 05:38 AM PDT Sometimes I just need to breathe for a few minutes. Just kinda step back and calm everything down. I like to use a meditation app but they are all so distracting (the irony). I just want to open up the app, pick a breathing exercises, center myself, then move about my day. What happens now is I open the app and it says "hey look at these new techniques", "new music by bon jovi", "190 new articles about why you're full of anxiety". I'm not strong enough to ignore all the extra fluff, I get sucked in. So I decided to build my own app. A simple fluff-free breathing exercises app, where I can open it up at any point during the day and take a few minutes to center myself. The app is called airhead (a reminder to not take my breathing so seriously). If that sounds like something you'd be interested in please check out the app and let me know what you think: iOS - https://apps.apple.com/us/app/id1531311705 Android - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.braindead.airhead" [link] [comments] |
