| I want to learn to meditate in the yogic style. Posted: 27 Apr 2021 07:48 PM PDT I've been meditating on and off for close to five years now. During this time, the scope of my meditation has been fairly limited to mindfulness meditation. As an ashtanga yoga practitioner, I'm interested to learn more about classical yogic meditation, or dhyana. I've reached a point where I consistently make time for my meditation practice and - now that I have some experience - would like to experiment with a different style. Are there any good resources that explain how to practice dhyana in the yogic style? Briefly, how does it differ from mindfulness mediation, if at all? [link] [comments] |
