Posted: 09 Jun 2021 10:14 AM PDT Does anyone know if it's okay or not to hold a weight while doing a front split to go deeper in the splits. I'm about 4inches from the floor. [link] [comments]

'Freshness' feeling after stretching Posted: 09 Jun 2021 05:36 AM PDT Hello, I have been stretching my neck muscles lately, and have started to notice some weird fresh feeling after releasing the stretch, where I feel some fresh cold feeling or flow in the zone I have stretched. Anyone has any scientific explanation for this? [link] [comments]
Stretching and training on alternate days? Posted: 09 Jun 2021 03:49 AM PDT Is soreness from exercise such as fast walking / jogging / skateboading a different type of soreness than the soreness caused by stretching? It is said that I can't stretch everyday if I feel soreness because the muscles need to regenerate first. I did an hour long stretching session yesterday, I did stretches for almost all parts of my body. The part where I feel it the most is my hamstrings (because that's what I prioritize, my hamstrings are very stiff with low range of motion) So yesterday I did stretching that caused me soreness today, can I do light exercise (such as walking) today or I have to wait until the soreness goes away? 33M how to climb up/down stairs faster and stand up from the ground faster? Posted: 09 Jun 2021 12:43 AM PDT For 1,5 years I have been working from home and not working out at all. - I notice that my feet just can't climb down the stairs any faster. - Climbing up the stairs doesn't feel right in my knees. - I notice that it's very slow to stand up when sitting on the floor. Any suggestions? How can I climb down/up the stairs faster? And stand up from the ground faster? [link] [comments]

Becoming a Supple Leopard and Percussion Guns Posted: 08 Jun 2021 02:42 PM PDT I have a theragun and I was wondering how people have implemented into a mobility program like Becoming a Supple Leopard. Do you only use the gun and adapt the techniques? Or do you just use it as a replacement for the lacrosse ball while still implementing the bands and rollers? [link] [comments] |
