    Anyone worked with flexibility coach or PT for flexibility?

    For several years, I've had painful tightness in my inner thighs, especially the right one. It doesn't impact my daily life -- just my yoga and flex practice. I feel it when doing straddles, pancakes, and anything where I fold forward/inside my leg. It makes it completely impossible to work on middle splits.

    I've been reluctant going to the doctor as I'm not sure they will see getting an extra-large ROM as a priority -- or that a physical therapist would understand my goal. Has anyone worked with a flexibility coach to overcome specific issues like this? I've always thought they are more for coaching extreme flexibility and I am not even in any splits at the moment -- but I would very much like to start training for that again.

    How is it possible that I can touch the floor with my hands in a forward fold, with straight legs, just fine but my hamstring mobility is poor?

    I never had issues touching the floor with my hands during a forward fold. Heck, I can even put my palms under my feet.

    However, I struggle to hinge from the hip with a straight back. My lower back starts to curve before my upper body is parallel to the floor.

    So, how is it that I am still easily able to get my hands all the way down to the floor? 🧐

    Chronic Ankle Rolling

    Not sure if this is the best place for this..but I chronically roll my ankles. Both of them. More frequently than I think is normal. I'd say both ankles have been rolled ~15 times (total). At this point all it takes is a crack in the sidewalk and I'm on the ground because my ankle rolled with such velocity it brought me down with it. I've been to PT for them after their initial diagnosed sprains, but haven't been back since. Any recommended exercises to help strengthen and (ideally) prevent future frequent ankle rolling incidents?

    For years I've sat on my lower back, and it's prevented me from properly sitting on my butt when in a chair. I want to change that and was wondering where I should start? Lower back stretches, hamstring stretching? Both? Any help would be appreciated.
