Ashtanga yoga: Los Angeles Ashtanga |
Posted: 05 Aug 2021 01:10 PM PDT Hi! I've been practicing through covid at home and would like to return to practice with others. I do not want to be in a space with unvaccinated people and I know that vaccination is not a given in the yoga community. Any thoughts about where to practice mysore-style in LA with others who are vaccinated against Covid19? -Joanne [link] [comments] |
Posted: 05 Aug 2021 12:47 PM PDT As my practice deepens I discover new places that need stretching, my lower back is more flexible than two months ago but now I am noticing the lack of flexibility in my middle back. I've been googling for some time and some people claim that they have grown 2 inches from yoga and swimming. Question to the dedicated ashtangis: as your practice deepens and your back gets more flexible, does your spine grow straighter, in ways which you couldn't have imagined before? I'm not merely speaking of having a better posture thus making you appear taller, I am more curious about the ways in which the spine straightens and adds real length to your height?
