Why does stretching weaken muscles over time? Posted: 05 Aug 2021 10:28 AM PDT If my understanding is correct, we are inflexible (when conscious) because the nervous system detects muscle weakness in greater ranges of motion so it contracts the muscle very hard to prevent further lengthening, in an isometric contraction. So why would the muscle weaken after a contraction? [link] [comments] | ||

im trying to get my back more flexible but theres an issue Posted: 05 Aug 2021 06:46 AM PDT i keep putting a lotta pressure and force on my lower back and my spine doesnt like that. im trying to fix it but idk how to. the only thing i know and can kiiiinda do is like arching my upper back but that doesnt seem to do much so i suspect im doing it wrong T T ! any advice is appreciated [link] [comments] | ||
