    Flexible hamstrings will release pressure from the knees and lower back preventing pain and discomfort. It also helps with high kicks and toe touching! This beginner-friendly yoga practice is under 10 minutes and includes some of my favorite hamstring poses. I hope you like it!

    Why does stretching weaken muscles over time?

    If my understanding is correct, we are inflexible (when conscious) because the nervous system detects muscle weakness in greater ranges of motion so it contracts the muscle very hard to prevent further lengthening, in an isometric contraction. So why would the muscle weaken after a contraction?

    i keep putting a lotta pressure and force on my lower back and my spine doesnt like that. im trying to fix it but idk how to. the only thing i know and can kiiiinda do is like arching my upper back but that doesnt seem to do much so i suspect im doing it wrong T T ! any advice is appreciated
