Pranayama: I want to get into Prayanama. Any advice ? |
I want to get into Prayanama. Any advice ? Posted: 28 Mar 2020 03:31 AM PDT Hi everyone, I've been taught one breathing technique earlier this year to regulate stress, however I felt like it was really basic, and even though it did improve myself a bit, I feel like it was not enough. It was a 5:5. I looked up for some breathing techniques and I found about Prayanama. I don't really where to start, and which breathing I should practice. I seek a breathing technique to regulate my emotions as I often get overwhelmed by it, but I also want to have a practice that could give me more energy as I am a student with exams coming near and I need to study really for the 2 next months. I know results won't be immediate and that's why I would like to start as soon as possible. Can you help me find ressources to learn about Prayanama and which breathing I should practice ? Also, do I absolutely need to practice "asanas" along Prayanama ? Or can I just stick to the breathing ? Thanks, [link] [comments] |
