Namaste everyone. Query regarding practice with certain limitations

    Posted: 06 Apr 2020 07:34 AM PDT

Hello everyone this is my first post on this sub

I would like the guidance of experienced yogis or someone who shares a similar predicament. I have recently started practicing pranayama and general breathing exercises My experience seema to be limited by a severely deviated nasal septum For instance when i am practicing nadi shodana i am able to breath freely with one nostril or but the other one is wither completely blocked or there is some irritation/uneasyness when breating thru that nostril Doctors recommend surgery for permanent correction of this defect. Nevertheless for the time being i have been using nasal douching(neti pot) and other anti allergic medication to ease the symptoms as im not in a situation to have surgery now Any other recommendations/suggestions and similar experiences would be welcome.. Thank you
