- Tonight I was able to feel my bum touch the ground! I was able to hold the splits, move around, lean forward and bend my back leg. Almost a year of trying to loosen up my right lower body from running and heavy lifting. SO happy!

Hip,glutes and hamstring in hand stand? Posted: 14 Jun 2020 01:28 AM PDT So I'm learning the Handstand I'm able to do Headstand with ease but only hold Handstand for bout 2 seconds as of now but my main issue is the discounting. In both handstand and headstand I am unable to control and slow my legs so gravity just slams them onto the ground. Is this due to lack of mobility in hips? Would like some insight on this. I'm also unable to bring my hips high enough during pike pushup holds [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 Jun 2020 11:14 AM PDT Hi, it's been around a month since I first started doing the bridge. Can you critique my bridge? https://imgur.com/a/0Nzc8m0 [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 Jun 2020 09:25 PM PDT I heard about Joe Hippensteel from David Goggins' book Can't Hurt Me. does anyone know where I can get some of his resources on stretching, and what optimal RoM is for the different muscles? [link] [comments]
Starting to Stretch Guide and Frequency of Stretching Posted: 13 Jun 2020 11:08 AM PDT In this subreddit's Starting to Stretch Guide, it states:
However in the FAQ it states:
So which one is it? Is the guide just saying that at a minimum you should do it 2-3 times per week, but if you have the time you should definitely strive for doing stretching daily, unless it results in discomfort? I'm quite ignorant about stretching, but before reading this guide I would have assumed that you should stretch everyday, even multiple times per day, in order to achieve the fastest gains. However, now after reading this guide I wonder if stretching is similar to weight lifting, where exercising the same muscle everyday actually limits muscle growth. [link] [comments]
