    Tips for Flat Feet

    Posted: 28 Jun 2020 03:43 PM PDT

Hello! I have been practicing yoga consistently for about 2 months now. I have very flat feet. I basically have 0 arch. I'm able to move comfortably through most beginner poses, but whenever I start going through the warrior poses I inevitably start to feel cramping in my feet. (It goes away after a few minutes, but it does force me to take breaks during my flow.) Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips to improve my posture/footing to avoid discomfort? Are there particularly good poses to build up foot/ankle strength? Thanks!

    weird physical changes

    Posted: 28 Jun 2020 01:50 PM PDT

hi, this is kind of a mundane question! I'm very curious of your opinions.

I have been doing yoga for a time, and I experienced many physical and mental benefits, like everyone. However there are two things that are kind of funny to me. First, I feel like my boobs got rounder. Not necessarily bigger, but they are somewhat different, almost fuller.Secondly, I feel like my toes are longer. They used to be very curled up, and now they are visibly straighter.Do you think these happened because of active and regular yoga workouts, or I'm just silly for thinking so?

    Headstand advice??

    Posted: 28 Jun 2020 12:53 PM PDT

So today was my first serious attempt to do it ( I'm still pretty new to yoga). I first do it with a wall so that I can get into the position, but then after I put my legs up I usually fall to my sides and end up hurting myself lol. What should I do?? Is it that normal to get bruised? Thanks!!!

    Your results with Alo Moves

    Posted: 28 Jun 2020 09:52 AM PDT

    Hello,

I have seen several threads about Alo where people asked if it was a good app and I see that most people like it.

However, I have not seen people mentioning results.

I am looking at it from the point of view of building strength and learning new skills. If you use the app, what did you get out of it?

How many mats is too many?

    Posted: 28 Jun 2020 09:33 AM PDT

I have three: my first mat (Gaiam), an upgrade to a Manduka pro, and a Manduka travel mat. This feels like too many to me, but maybe I'm overthinking it.

How many mats do you have? Does each have a purpose? How many is too many, since the mat is really just an accessory?

    yoga poses for instrumentalists??

    Posted: 28 Jun 2020 09:13 AM PDT

hi all! I'm on mobile, so I apologize for any weird formatting.

I was wondering if any of y'all have any pose recommendations for instrumentalists, and the stiffness that comes along with consistent practice. I play flute, and I've found that even with a good flute posture, I've been getting really stiff and sore after long practices.

I've been trying to do cat/cow and some other pretty basic yoga poses pretty consistently, but I'd feel a bit better knowing what y'all think.

    thanks so much!

When practicing Kundalini Yoga, should I do the same Kryia over multiple days or not?

    Posted: 28 Jun 2020 03:03 AM PDT

So im quite new to kundalini Yoga. I have been following yoga classes on youtube for the past 3 months.

I wonder though about what is the best approach.

Do you do the same sets over a prolonged period of time or every day thers something new? and if you stick with one, what do you have a good recommendation and a reason why this is the right one for you?:)
