    How to Improve Ankle Strength?

    Posted: 03 Oct 2020 02:52 PM PDT

I have sprained my ankle multiple times now and I'm not sure how to improve my ankle strength. I have tried some exercises for a while now and they don't seem to be working that effectively. Is there any exercises that people could recommend? Thank you.

This particular session can be used to condition your body for front split. The complex is designed to improve the mobility of your hip joints and flexibility of your hamstring and quad muscles. Additionally, this stretching complex will improve coordination and balancing abilities.

    Can't stretch my chest!

    Posted: 03 Oct 2020 02:58 PM PDT

I try every possible type of stretch and angle. Nothing works. I never get a stretch.

When I for example do band dislocates, I only feel it in my upper traps. I mean. Wtf. Does anyone know what's up?

    I'm veery tight.

Flexibility routine to fix shoulder rounding (humpback)

    Posted: 03 Oct 2020 08:47 AM PDT

So I have kyphosis and scoliosis ( the actual name is just a combo of the two but I can't spell it lol) I went to a physical therapist for a while but I live in America and co-pays are just a bit too much. I was told I need to improve my hamstring flexibility as well as my "heelcord" flexibility. I can touch my toes but my therapist said that I probably couldn't but the curve in my back made it easier so I could. I used to be obese and I always thought my back rounding. Was due to a sedentary lifestyle and though I'm certain it didn't help as it turns out it's a development issue. My PT said it was unlikely I could ever "fix" it unless I still had some growth plates in my spine and at my age (18) that's pretty unlikely but she did say if I could stretch my chest and strengthen my back I could mitigate it but it was essential to work on the other aforementioned areas because "it's all connected" so what do I do? How do I measure my progress? And how long will it take?

    Hip pain increasing with stretching??

    Posted: 03 Oct 2020 08:50 PM PDT

I have some pain in my left hip which has been a dull ache for a while. Nothing serious, it comes and goes. I was previously running, playing football and some bodyweight exercises.

Recently (within the last week) I started Tom Merrik 15 min daily flexibility routine, and I've found my hip aches more. Any reason why?

Also my knees are really high when trying to cross my legs whilst sitting on the floor, and a big reason why I started stretching.

    Any advice?

Confused by my bent leg adduction

    Posted: 03 Oct 2020 08:46 PM PDT

Hi guys, so I'm not sure what the position is called, but it's a sort of half lotus pose (one foot on top of the knee and foot under the knee), folding my forehead down to the floor. I can do this really well on both sides, but if I get into a figure-four stretch lying on my back then I am completely limited by my adductors, whereas in the half lotus stetch I just described, it's all glute and a bit of the very lower parts of my back. What do you think causes this weird adductor tightness during the figure-four stretch?

Favorite hip mobility stretches for squats?

    Posted: 03 Oct 2020 07:49 PM PDT

I have been trying to get deeper into my squats for a while and I haven't found a routine I like. It also be my left ankle mobility not letting me get low. What's the best one anyone has found for a weightlifting male?

How can I improve elbow extension?

    Posted: 03 Oct 2020 09:18 AM PDT

I can't straighten my elbows to 180 degrees and was convinced that it's a bone issue for a while, but I noticed that if there is load on my elbows (like in a planche), they are straight. I think that means I can straighten them if I work on it, but I'm not sure how to. I know a few stretches, but that's it. I don't know how many times a week to train it, how many sets, how much time for each set, etc... If anyone has any knowledge of this topic, I would really appreciate some advice. Thanks ahead!😁
