Welcome to Form Check Friday! Here is the link to all previous Form Check Fridays

Please post a photo or video of the stretch you'd like to be critiqued. Do include any specific questions you have about your form.

Your video or photo should be:

    • Oriented the correct way, we want to see the lines of your body
    • Be formatted such that there isn't unnecessary video of you preparing for the move (keep it short)
    • Have the important bits of the movement clearly visible (multiple angles is always useful)
    • Include the whole body

    Rules for critiquing form

    • Constructive criticism only
    • Feel free to point others to resources that address their form and/or questions if you aren't "qualified" to give them advice yourself

If your form is awesome, consider posting it in the Show Off Sunday thread!

Thanks to a recent injury I’ve lost all my flexibility and it’s back to square one (lost my splits and can barely hold a bridge). I’m hoping I’ll be able to post next Christmas with a recreation of each of these pics from last year, wish me luck!!

Please critique this list of exercises

I have tight and weak hips/adductors that I am trying to remedy as I do martial arts and find it hard to get my hips into kicks.. I did some basic research and came up with the following list of exercises that I put into a routine.. the aim to build leg strength and remedy my tight and weak hips/adductors:

Please let me know what you think or if there is anything I should add or take away.

    Thanks

    Weird knee pain?

    Posted: 24 Dec 2020 03:05 PM PST

Injured my knee 3 weeks ago and have been monitoring it to see if it will get better. It feels like it's on the outside part of the need itself.

It gets super stiff when I sit for a long period of time, I limp when I walk and then eventually it works it's way out and feels better. Also when I squat down to grab something off of a lower shelf at the store or picking something off the ground it's a sharp pain.

I've tried stretching but it seems like it makes it worse and I've iced it a couple of times but it's not getting any better. Anyone else had this problem before or have an idea what could be the issue?
