| What amount of stretching is too much? Posted: 15 Dec 2020 07:21 PM PST So I want to start doing stretches to increase my flexibility, but I heard that a certain amount of stretching can actually make me stiffer so what is the maximum amount of time I can spend doing stretches but not get stiffer? | Posted: 15 Dec 2020 11:04 PM PST Hello, my Father is 78 and he wants to start stretching again but we cant find any resources on the net if its "Alright" to stretch at 80~. Can anyone please tell me if your parents/grandparents do it and will he able to do like full splits or not? [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 15 Dec 2020 04:50 PM PST My whole body feels so tight and bound together that no massage therapist or chiropractor can help without me going multiple times a week. I've been recently tying to find more information on posas and emo release. Do does one release on themselves? [link] [comments] | ||

| Front splits when your knees dislocate? Posted: 15 Dec 2020 04:06 PM PST I (20F) have hypermobile knees, and it seems to run in my family. Because of that, my knees have dislocated a couple times, and they usually pop back in on their own quickly after. I've been working on my front splits lately, and anytime I do a right front split, my left knee feels like it's on the verge of popping out, which makes me give in much earlier than I want to. Could it be related to form? Could my knee just be too sensitive for the splits? Anyone else gone through something similar? Thanks! [link] [comments] | ||

| Splits by Christmas - Split Progression over the last 3 weeks! Posted: 15 Dec 2020 12:24 PM PST I think I will be able to do the splits by Christmas. I am only showing the Left Leg Forward. These photos are so awkward. Sorry about that. I do BUTI Yoga for about 90 minutes and then I do my splits stretching for another 30-60 minutes to get ready before trying to take these awkward photos. LMAO!!! [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 15 Dec 2020 04:54 AM PST Hi all, I am training for my splits for quite some time already, but I noticed that 48 or even 72 hours doesn't give me full recovery and back of legs stay quite stiff, which doesn't allow following stretching session to be as productive. Would you have any tips for this? Thank you. Alex [link] [comments] | ||

| What do you think of the Yiannis Christoulas split guide? Posted: 15 Dec 2020 07:26 AM PST If anyone has seen it, what do you think? Alternatively, what do you think of the idea that you only really need two or three stretches to achieve splits? Has anyone found success with this? [link] [comments] |
