Flexibility: Working To Get “Back” into Wheel/Bridge After Pregnancy |
- Working To Get “Back” into Wheel/Bridge After Pregnancy
- Today I got my left split on the bed! My back leg is still my biggest enemy on the ground but I’m working on it. Do you think my hips are squared enough?
- Definitely need to keep working on my hip flexor flexibility but my shoulders look way better!
- This is my starting point. What exercises can I do to improve and what should I focus on first?
- What are some goals to aim for before getting your splits?
- Unlock Tight Hamstrings // Gravity Yoga // Ep. 1
- My calves are INSANELY tight and painful and I don't know how to fix it.

| What are some goals to aim for before getting your splits? Posted: 11 Dec 2020 08:45 AM PST Hi flexi-friends! I've been a lurker of this sub for years, but I've never posted. I'm hoping you can help me with my flexibility journey. I don't know a lot of terminologies or names for things, so sorry if this rambly or confusing. I've been told I have a good level of natural flexibility (nothing crazy though), and I've always been interested in cultivating it. I know the things I want to be able to do, but I don't know the proper names and training necessary to get achieve them. I've been doing flexibility videos from Alivia D'Andrea on Youtube. I think they definitely help, but I feel like I get discouraged because my goals are only big? Getting my splits is big to me, and I feel like it'd be easier if I had smaller goals to reach along the way, ya know? I don't know what kind of positions or movements would be appropriate to have as stepping stone goals though. I hope I'm making sense. I'm totally open to doing my own research if someone can give me suggestions for keywords or terms to look up. I'm posting because I don't know what to look up. Thank you in advance [link] [comments] | ||

| My calves are INSANELY tight and painful and I don't know how to fix it. Posted: 11 Dec 2020 03:25 PM PST I'm 21 and male and around 230lbs if that helps anything at all. I lift weights 4-6 times a week(except last month as I've been really busy with exams) and try to do cardio for heart health. I stretch full body everyday and I stretch my calves 2-4 times a day with 3x30s stretches each. So I'd do the runners lunge calf stretch 3x 30s on each leg and do that 2-4 times a day for example. As well as some other calf stretches that I've tried. No matter what I do I just can't seem to get them to stop being stiff and painful. I'm seeing a podiatrist who suggested to do the 3x30s stretching 3-4x a day, but it's still not helping. Any tips? I also have tight hip flexors(which I am working on right now) and tight hamstrings which I'm working on as well. They're definitely getting better but my calves seem to stay the same.
