    Anyone else feels like when they adjust one thing the other becomes harder again?

    English is my second language so please disregard any grammar mistakes

    I'm a beginner at Ashtanga (2 months), and am taking online classes with a teacher. I do my sequence until parsvottanasana (+ closing lotuses).

    Before Ashtanga I used to practice hatha and I was able to do lateral leg stretches. Yesterday was my pause and I was doing some stretches and noticed that I'm super tight laterally now.

    Also after I started doing prasarita I think I finally understood that I need to loosen my hips and have begun to try and do that but it feels like my body reacts by tightening up even more.

    I'm able to loosen the hips at prasarita but afterwards is like it rebounds and I feel very "shortened" in the hips/lower back.

    I hope I made myself clear lol it's difficult to explain the feeling. I feel like the hip is moving (and I'm not forcing it past my limit I swear) but some other movements that used to be easier become harder when others become easier?

    In my language we say that it's like a short blanket, you can either cover your feet or your head and that's kinda how I feel rn hahaha
