Flexibility: My 9 month needle progress! |
- My 9 month needle progress!
- A month ago at the beach. Still learning to do right leg in front tho
- Started doing yoga about a year ago in quarantine, now i'm studying to become a teacher!
- About two and a half years of progress. I know I’m a long way to getting my chest on the ground but when I first started I couldn’t even sit in a straddle (I had to sit on blocks for assistance) let alone start working on my pancake but slowly I’m proving myself wrong and damn it feels nice lol ✨
- Progress on back bends :)
- Pancake always hurts right hip
- Stretching the lower lower abs -> is it okay to foam roll?
- Hi there, can someone critique my spinal flexibility and give me tips on where I need to improve?
- Flexible Redditor’s: do you wear prescription glasses throughout the day?

Pancake always hurts right hip Posted: 23 May 2021 08:42 PM PDT Any time I stretch my right leg out to the right, I get a small pain in the outer crease of my right hip, and over the next 2 seconds or so it exponentially gets more painful until I have to move my leg back to straight ahead or under me. When I do, the pain immediately goes away and there's no aching or soreness. I'm getting limited in my pancake stretches because even though I'm flexible enough to move my right leg out more, this pain starts before then. My leg has done this since I was a kid, does anyone know what it might be? Is there something I can do about it? [link] [comments]
Stretching the lower lower abs -> is it okay to foam roll? Posted: 23 May 2021 03:49 PM PDT I'm looking for the best ways to lengthen and release my abs. I know the wheel or bridge is recommended, but I'm not anywhere close to being able to hold a decent bridge for any length of time. I was thinking of getting a really huge yoga ball for an assisted bridge? Would that stretch my abs? Also I'm wondering if using a lacrosse ball on my lower abs, really around my bladder, is safe considering the sensitive bits down there. I have an overtight pelvic floor and I'm fairly certain a good bit of that comes from tightness in my lower abs. Does anyone have good stretches to target the lower abs specifically? I don't have much luck with the "seal" pose (laying on your belly, with your torso held up with your hands). [link] [comments]
