Pranayama: Anyone know the name of this technique? |
Anyone know the name of this technique? Posted: 26 May 2021 09:58 AM PDT Hi everyone! I enjoyed practicing a technique I saw watching a speaker at the breathing festival conference earlier in the year hosted by Dan Brule. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the speaker or technique! It was definitely pranayama as the man teaching said so and was heavily invested in mudras. The technique itself was taking 8-10 or more inhales until your lungs are full (so making one inhale into many pieces) holding for a couple of seconds then exhaling out the nose or mouth. I think he said it was radiance breath or breath of the sun or something. Anyone know? Definitely an upregulating practice you can feel the buzz of the endorphins/adrenalin but without any hyperventilating which is often the way of upregulating. [link] [comments] |
