Posted: 01 Jun 2021 12:01 AM PDT I do my flexibility routine in the afternoon and do my workout in the evening (works best for me)! But I still wonder if I should stretch/limber a little, like 10/15 minutes after a workout or if it's not necessary ? [link] [comments]
How to improve my flexibility in an effective manner Posted: 31 May 2021 11:22 AM PDT Hey, I am doing sports on a regular, but I am wondering how to get my body to be more flexibile? I can't even bend down and touch my toes. I also am wondering how to get your leg streched in a high position similar to a karate kick i.e [link] [comments]
should i break up my stretching routine? Posted: 31 May 2021 06:54 AM PDT hello! i'm interested in getting more flexible, and i have this stretching routine i would like to do once an hour for at least ten hours a day. (background: f16, as a kid i was super inflexible, but then i had this phase where i just kept stretching and am now able to do the full middle/side splits + almost touch my elbows to the floor- i'm probably one of the most flexible in my dance class now.) the routine takes 5 mins + consists of different stretches for standing splits and wheel pose variations. my main goal is to do a chest stand (and to be completely honest, this too if it's even possible :,) ) but i was wondering, would it be better to just have 1 50-minute session of these stretches? i don't want to push myself too hard injure myself, which i've noticed i tend to do when i stretch for longer periods of time. is my method less effective, or does it matter? thanks :> [link] [comments]
Posted: 31 May 2021 07:01 AM PDT Watched this beautiful explanation on side split mechanics and was blown away by the triangle split and inline split explanation. https://youtu.be/bJl4VSoESpo However, I can do the traingle split to the point where my calves are touching the floor (mid thighs on a good day). But I have no idea how to progress to full hips on the floor/the inline split. Tips/Advice? [link] [comments] |
