    Help identifying a mobility issue? (legs, hips)

    I noticed this issue when I left my leg up to the side whenever I'm, say, stepping over something high like swinging my leg over a fence. When I lift my leg up sideways it feels very immobile, but the restriction doesn't come from a tightness in my groin which is what I'd expect, but from a pinchy feeling on the outside of my legs (both sides), kind of in my hip.     Is this a known problem? Is it due to hip rotation or is it just adductor tightness manifesting in a weird way?
