Seeking short but advanced flexibility flow that’s mostly floor work.

    Posted: 01 May 2020 05:22 AM PDT

I'm a former fitness instructor and know my way around a mat ok. However, I suffer from a neurological condition and when it flares I don't have the energy for my usual long routines and spend too much time in bed. I fall out of practice and end up with serious back pain from my muscles locking up. When I feel better, I jump into a 6-8 week intensive program to return to my baseline flexibility, just to have another flare and spend three months in bed again. My primary sport is running, so I get tight fast. This time, I've committed to doing some variation of the splits every day and that's been good for keeping my lower body from locking up.

I need tips for stretches that target full range of motion in the major muscle groups—especially the back and shoulders and lateral muscles. I need a short list of poses I can do when I'm sick that gets around to stretching everything that isn't too complicated or dependent on strength and balance. Everything I come up with is too long or lopsided and I'm sure there's better poses out there I don't know about.

Workouts to follow without bending my wrist?

    Posted: 01 May 2020 08:24 AM PDT

So, long story short, I got a decently large burn area on my wrist yesterday with some second degree blisters. So bending my wrist right now is not feasible for a few reasons.

I know some moves to keep me going for 30 minutes where I won't have to do anything with my wrists bent but was wondering if anyone knows of any videos that are basically all standing positions?

    Chemo Yoga Flow

Hey Reddit community! My mom is current a breast cancer patient going through chemo. She's experiencing some joint pain and I'm wondering if anyone has a good yin flow she could start with. I have blocks and a strap she could use.

Overall she's in good physical shape - before treatment she played tennis 3-4 times a week and she was walking 15 to 20 minutes a day until her last treatment Monday.
