When doing this stretch I can’t get my right knee down on the table, but I can on the left side down fine. I am just wondering, what exactly is tight on the right side?

I stretch everyday and make very little of any progress

    Posted: 29 Jun 2020 07:43 PM PDT

Hello! I'm new to the Reddit's and ,despite my daily stretching, I'm new to flexibility.

So I stretch everyday, my current routine is with PNF and static stretching, and I do it daily with an occasional break from soreness.

But I've been doing routines and variations of stretches for a year now and I'm seeing super low returns. Anybody else have this problem?

Persisting low back pain after stretching

    Posted: 29 Jun 2020 09:56 PM PDT

Hi all, so I am new to this sub but not to the world of flexibility. 15 years ago when i was in high school i was an amateur contortionist and kept this up until i was about 24. So I know most of the typical stretches. However I have done a lot of sitting and gained a little weight and next to no stretching this last decade. I'd like to get at least functionally flexible again.

But heres the problem, every time i do any bridge stretches my lower back is incredibly sore for the next day. like if i bend over forwards i might get stuck (which looks hilarious but feels awful). I'm not sure what the issue is. I haven't gotten injured. Is is a strength issue? is this just normal in your 30's? Or maybe if i just need to try some different stretches. I'd love to hear some opinions

Leg seems to pop out randomly?

    Posted: 29 Jun 2020 03:24 PM PDT

I don't know if this is the right place to post but I'm just wondering if anyone could advise me on what's happening. This past month 3 times this has occurred. I am relaxing and I go to stand up but my leg is bent outwards at a 45 degree angle. I'm not sure if this classifies as a dislocation. I try to pull my leg back straight and it doesn't budge without a lot of pain. Finally after many attempts of pulling my leg straight, my leg can get back to normal. During this situation my leg feels 'wrong' and that it's popped out of place at the hip bone. Does anyone know what this could be or have a similar issue?

    TFL is tight

Any stretches to help with tight TFL? I roll it out with a lacrosse ball but I feel that stretching it out will have a more long term benefit.
