My hamstrings are so tight its causing nerve pain.

    Posted: 10 Aug 2020 09:33 PM PDT

I want to stretch it but the last 3 times I tried I ended up overstretching almost instantly despite warming up. It's that tight. The first time I overstretched it was when I was doing normal hamstring stretches. The 2nd was when I tried to foam roll for 30 seconds. The 3rd was accidental when I tried to bend over. I know an overstretched muscle takes a couple weeks to heal and I have been waiting patiently but I still seem to overstretched it every single time. On the second time I overstretched it I waited at least 6 weeks all the while doing extremely light exercises. At the moment I am wearing hamstrings compressions and have been for weeks but I am still worried about stretching it. How should I go about stretching my hamstrings with injuring myself?

    Posted: 10 Aug 2020 11:15 AM PDT

    Hi everyone

I was just wondering if you personally have any stretching videos on youtube or specific youtubers you really enjoy or would recommend or, on the contrary, ones you would not recommend or don't like.

I'm not necessarily looking for recommendations, I just want to read your takes.

    Hamstring stretching is very uncomfortable

    Posted: 10 Aug 2020 05:46 AM PDT

(May not actually be my hamstring but along the bottom of my leg) When i do the common touch your toes stretch, i feel a lot of discomfort in my hamstring. Every other muscle i stretch feels good when i stretch it except for my hamstring. Is this normal or is there something wrong with my leg?
