Ashtanga yoga: Asana sequence in Sharaths book «Ageless» |
Asana sequence in Sharaths book «Ageless» Posted: 30 Dec 2020 07:51 AM PST After 17 years of hearing you should not change the ashtanga-sequence or skip poses (of course, I am aware this is an exaggeration) - I saw Sharath promoting a sequence of 10 asanas as enough for most people in his book "ageless". It's this: Sun salutes (10-15 A, 5-8 B) Utthita Trikonasana A and B Pachimattasana Purvattasana Baddha Konasana Upavistha Konasana Supta Padangusthasana Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana Utkatasana Virabhadrasana 1 and 2 Urdhva Dhanurasana Padmasana No vinyasas between poses described in the book. I wonder - does he talk about this shortened sequence/ teach it? Has anybody heard him talk about it? [link] [comments] |
Would running be bad for someone who wants to be flexible? Posted: 30 Dec 2020 11:43 AM PST |
