Ashtanga yoga: Long yoga mat |
| Posted: 30 Nov 2020 11:02 AM PST Hello tall yogis. I've been practicing on an extra long Manduka pro for years. I absolutely love that mat! As I've gotten more into styles like Ashtanga and Rocket, I've been considering buying a mat with alignment markers. I really like the idea behind the liforme mat, but it's only 72" long. I don't want to buy a mat that is shorter than me. My Manduka is a glorious 85" long, which gives me plenty of space. I don't need it to be that long, but ideally at least 76" long, preferably 78-79". I am 6'1 (or 73") and close to 200 pounds, so I am looking for something durable/high quality. Any men or tall women out here have recommendations? Really bummed that liforme doesn't sell long/tall mats, and not sure what other options are.
