What are the benefits of being flexible?

    Posted: 09 Apr 2021 08:17 AM PDT

I'd like to be flexible but when I thought about it I actually don't know why. I mean it seams fun to be flexible, but are there any heath benefits, and if so what are they exactly?

Has anyone purchased antraniks Ultimate Flexibility Bundle?

    Posted: 09 Apr 2021 08:53 PM PDT

I'm in lots of pain and desperate for change, this is a 3 video routine that I could rotate that looks really promising in helping the entire body. It's pretty expensive so I'm wondering if anyone has any reviews? I've just been finding random videos on YouTube in the meantime but would love a routine I could follow for a few months to improve my posture, flexibility and well being.

Why do slant boards make everything way more intense?

    Posted: 09 Apr 2021 07:30 PM PDT

My hamstrings are semi flexible, and I'm already so used to stretching it never really hurts, it's just a little uncomfortable now. But when doing standing pike stretches, my whole posterior leg is just on fire and it so damn intense. Is this normal for anyone else? Do I just have to get used to it?

    Straddle help please!

    Posted: 09 Apr 2021 03:32 PM PDT

I've started dancing and I'm usually the least flexible person in the room. Where I really notice it is in my seated straddle. My legs only open about 90 degrees. I've looked for some stretches I could do, but most of what I find is for pancake. Does anyone know any good stretches to improve this?

I have a few questions on my splits. Is it normal that my legs inch when my butt hits the ground? How come when I let go of the ground my legs start to move forward? How can I fix it?

    Extremely remedial hamstring stretches?

    Posted: 09 Apr 2021 10:51 AM PDT

I'm coming off pretty severe torn hamstring/sciatica from a skiing accident and the flexibility in my left leg is near zero at the moment. I've searched for a lot of beginner hamstring stretches and most of them are still far too challenging.

If I try to touch my toes I can just barely get to my knees, and on a sit&reach the best I can do is a 45 degree angle backwards.

Are there some good extremely remedial stretches to work on? I've been trying to piece together the few things I can sortof manage, but I haven't found much.

Hip popping when extending leg/ dynamic movements?

    Posted: 09 Apr 2021 09:54 AM PDT

Heyo! I'm having some difficulty really stretching and doing dynamic movements because my left hip keeps popping. At times it almost feels like something in there gets stuck.... I feel it most if I sit down with my legs tucked to my chest and extend that leg out, and also when I'm doing dynamic standing toe touch kicks, but it also happens if I just stand up from a sitting/ laying down. It typically isn't a problem for me, but just recently it started hurting a fair amount after I was done working out. Now I'm terrified to do any stretching because I'm afraid I've seriously injured myself, and I don't want to exacerbate a pre-existing issue. Any idea what this could be?

What should I work on to fully forward fold?

    Posted: 09 Apr 2021 09:33 AM PDT

I can touch my hands to my feet however my back is rounded and cannot fully straighten my legs. I am already working on opening my hammies. Should I start working on my hips? Are there any good stretches that I can use to loosen my lower back as it feels very tight?
