I rarely post pics of myself, but I'm so happy my head finally touches the back leg, I feel like sharing! Would greatly appreciate tips for balancing without holding onto something :)

Why can't I straighten my lower back? It's got a curve in it. Is that normal?

Doing an internal rotation like this causes pain in the highlighted area of my right hip/groin. Should I just keep it up or try something different?

Any tips for engaging my upper back? I have pretty good upper back flexibility but in this pose all the bend goes to my low back :/

Trying to do the splits but about 2 days ago, something happened.

I decided to start stretching to accomplish the splits about 2-3 weeks ago. I saw all the videos and tips on how, and especially how PNF is incredibly important, but I've just been stretching normally every day. One of the things keeping me from doing the splits are the tendons at the back of my knees, since they are not as flexible as the rest of my leg. I never overdo it, and I keep in mind "there is a difference between good pain and bad pain", and recently while stretching, the tendon behind my left knee moved forwards unnaturally, and it hurt a LOT. My right knee tendon is fine and normal, and I hoped my left knee tendon would be alright after time or maybe I just messed up once, but nope. I haven't been able to stretch anymore because my left tendon gets displaced and hurts a lot, is there anything I can do to fix it?
