Working From Home On Floor: Suggestions?

Working From Home On Floor: Suggestions?

I built a desk the height of a coffee table so I could work sitting on the floor in hopes of staying flexible during the day. Any suggestion on poses to work from and move between? I've been doing cow, straight legs, Malasana (but can't hold it for too long and my ankles still keep coming up), and kneeling.

Looking for a few more that I could hold for 15-25 minutes without wearing myself out or hurting myself. Thanks!

Difficulty sitting up straight when legs are extended in front of me.

Hello. Looking for some tips. I really feel the most discomfort at the top of my legs where it meets the hip. Also a little in the lower back and outer butt. I no doubt need a combo of flexibility and strength training, but where do I start? Advice appreciated.

Can you replace the Pike Leg Stretch with standing Toe touching stretch?

    Posted: 13 Nov 2020 02:01 PM PST

    Hello all,

I am brand new to this subreddit, and I have been following the Starting to Stretch program for about 3 weeks now. I am getting better at it, but I had a question. For the Pike Leg stretch, would we get the same results if we do Toe Touching stretches? I feel the same muscles work when I do both, and Toe touching is easier for me to do, so I was wondering if it could be swapped?

    Hamstring injury?

    Posted: 13 Nov 2020 06:37 AM PST

When I do pancake good morning stretches(on a high platform), I feel an intense stretch at the upper, left-ish part of my right hamstring, it's not painful but it's uncomfortable and I know something bad is gonna happen if I go even further down. My left hamstring is absolutely fine and I don't even feel a stretch there. I've had this before and rested a week but then it came back again now. Anyone has an idea what this is?
